Forget Netflix
Just kidding.. but really Disney+ may be a competitor to Netflix but since I started my free trial & now Verizon promotion subscription - my family & I have been watching Disney+ non-stop. Of course being that this is a new app there are some small bugs but nothing that isn’t going to deter a Disney fan from loving this app anyway! Some of the movies listed aren’t available until certain dates like January 1, 2020 or sometime in April but it’s not all of the movies and I think for the most part most the hit movies are available to watch. It would be nice to have an open platform with all the movies available but you know what? For only $6.99 a month you can’t beat that. Thank you Disney for being a millennial-friendly subscription - all your movies especially Pixar have grown with my generation in mind. We appreciate you! If you have a Verizon unlimited plan definitely enroll in the Disney+ promotion it is so worth it not only for those of you who have children but sometimes us adults need some Disney magic in our lives as well - pretty sure Walt Disney himself said something of that sort at one point. Don’t come for me if he didn’t but I’m pretty sure he did :)

Was good until they updated to no sharing accounts
I’m so mad at Disney for this. It’s so stupid because I have seen many cases, and I’m one of them, where the only reason we liked Disney+ is because it let us share accounts with family members who couldn’t afford to pay the ridiculous amount asked for a subscription. Because of this, heads will turn, and not the right way. Maybe in the first year, people are going to miss and all, buy subscriptions, but eventually no one will want to pay and Disney will probably lose a majority of their customers. I’m just telling you, Disney, just because your popular and you find a dumb chance to make better money doesn’t mean you should. You probably thought that by taking away account sharing, more people would buy. Well your wrong, because that’s not my case anyway. We’re not paying you $7.99 a month for dang basic plan. I mean come on! You better bring back account sharing, and I’ll happily raise my rating and review. Or you can lower your monthly plan, and maybe we’ll actually buy a subscription, and I could raise my rating and review. Just saying, Disney+ may have been an Editor’s Choice app, but now Heads will turn… THE OTHER DIRECTION! I thought you didn’t like seeing your customers upset. Well I’m a customer and I’m upset, so fix it! Thank you for reading!

Good video library and content but lousy software and experience
There’s an excellent library of content in here. However the constant frequent mandatory required software updates are ridiculous. I’ve never had an app that mandates a full software update as often as this one. Disney is wasting my time and bandwith. I’ve been a subscriber since day one of the service and there’s been over 15 mandatory updates in 18 months. Also it’s very difficult to see my own selection of my titles that I’ve saved in my favorites because Disney chooses to only let us see its graphical icons of some movie poster rather than just presenting it in text. Also, I add movies to my favorites list and Disney remove them whenever they want. It’s my list of my favorites, but whenever Disney take something out of its library even temporarily remove my favorites from my list. That’s just horrible customer service and their idiot buyers who make decisions on what movies to add and delete should look at their users favorites list first and not screw over their customers. How about Letting users sort their own favorites list alphabetically or by category or by date of release of the movie. Instead Disney only lets us see the list using it’s ridiculous movie poster blockbuster VCR tape icons that are hard to see and often have dark lettering on dark backgrounds.

There is a lot of great old shows and movies and some new stuff but I would really appreciate it if you would add more new stuff like Gabby Duran And the Unsitibles, Bunk’d, and The Owl house. I think these are shows that the targeted audience of Disney plus like to watch. DisneyNOW has all these shows but sometimes there isn’t the full season of shows that are slightly older and it never works very well. I love that you have National Geographic shows on it because I cant really watch those any where else except for the National Geographic channel and a few on Netflix. I really enjoy watching the shows that you do have and I would really appreciate if you would add more Disney Channel shows. Please tell me why you do what you advertise and don’t let me watch all the Disney shows. I got Disney plus because DisneyNOW didn’t have very much content of shows that I didn’t watch very much but Disney plus doesn’t have most of the shows I do watch and now I have nowhere to watch Disney shows because it is almost impossible to get DisneyNOW to work and it is even harder to find Disney shows on the internet. I am begged you to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE add more Disney Channle content. It would be really appreciated by me and a lot of other people my age. Also please make the internet on DisneyNOW work, it is driving me CRAZY!!!!!!!

Just MY opinion
Hello!! So Disney+ is an amazing app, where you can get MANY MANY shows whenever u want at anytime and there’s many old shows and that’s great!! But the app itself has many bugs and sometimes it just doesnt open or it gets closed automatically which I understand isn’t easy to make an app but if you are gonna make me pay at least try to fix it. And now we are going to my biggest problem. Idk if this happens to other ppl of it’s just my acc, but sometimes for example I wanna watch “Bia an upside down world” and I’m so excited because I saw that it already came to Disney+ and I was like “omg yasss finally” but then when I got into Disney it just doesnt show, it only shows the first season of the serie not the movie and it made me pretty sad bc I saw that it came on February 19th-21th. So basically idk if it’s my acc, or my country or what??? Please let me know!!!!! (It also happens with many other shows). And now the last problem; You have to PAY EXTRA to watch some movies. When we are already paying, for example to watch Cruella you have to pay. And it isn’t coming to ppl who doesn’t pay till August. So I think thats so unfair in my opinion. And well that’s all hope you can fix the problems. So sorry for making this feedback but I had to.

All the favorites, one small problem
EDIT: Lowered my rating to 3. My previous issue was fixed but now the color in everything looks washed out. Whether I’m watching Hamilton, a marvel movie, or a show, it all looks as if the colors have been washed out. All of my other streaming apps work and look just fine when I’m casting it to my chromecast but Disney+ doesn’t. Any help here, Disney? Just like everyone else here, I was very excited to use Disney+ and watch all the old favorites along with the new original shows. I’m very happy with the service thus far but I’ve been having an issue with the auto play feature since the release of the app. I use my iPhone X to cast Disney+ movies/shows to my Google ChromeCast. When watching a show, the app will stop streaming after the second episode. It’ll go back to the placeholder screen that says “Ready to cast” but it won’t let me select the next episode. I have to disconnect my phone from the ChromeCast, close the app, then re-open it and reconnect to the ChromeCast. After that I can play the next episode but the same thing happens again after the second episode. Not sure what the issue is, this doesn’t happen when I use other streaming apps like Netflix or HBO GO. A fix to this would be appreciated. Other than that, Disney+ has been great.

Disney+ deserves five stars
Hi please listen. Do do you ever wanna watch Disney movies or tv stows but you don’t know what do you want to watch or do you ever want options between Star Wars or Marvel? If you have that problem then I have a solution for you get Disney+! I have Disney+ and I love it! One reason why I love it is because I can have it on my tv iPod, iPad, or phone. Also if my sister is watching tv and I want to watch Disney+ then I can go on my iPad and watch. It’s awesome!! Another reason why I love Disney+ is because I can choose from so many different Disney movies or tv shows. Also I can watch all shows like Hannah Montana. Here’s one more reason why Disney+ is awesome. The quality is excellent! It’s super cheap and it’s so great. What I mean is there’s so many movies and TV shows I can watch and it’s not a lot of money. I can watch a new Marvel movie without going to the store and paying for that movie to buy it. I Disney+ I can just watch it and there’s more options! I can just watch the movie the fort so I remember and then watch that new movie so I can remember what happened before! Thanks for reading this and I hope you love Disney+ like me.

The app is perfect, but these crazy reviewers are the boneheads ..look people right now there is no feature of “what I watched last “ or history the app would slow down you want that go back to netflix and stay there. Just because you can add 7 people to your account is does not always mean you should. You really trust those 7 people with your account info? Remember only 4 streams allowed and You have should known that you have to have control over these devices. If your password gets changed it will be your fault deal with it. Then you free phone deal will not matter at all. The movies could and will edited if Disney sees fit you should have know this. 4.3 ? No no no 5.5 and nothing else . The app engine is pure and clean cues up easy , logo guides are clear to understand and easy find. Pick Your items then play them from the largest Disney library of gems no worries 🎥🎧🎬 Before anymore stupid comments or ideas come to past here read FQA page please! To anyone else read the fine print know what you paying for people. This pure Disney can not get any better than that nuff said . 🇬🇧🎸🔥

My Heart is Broke
I know Mulan was probably a expensive movie to put together but I already have Premier Access so why do I have to pay for the exact same thing just to watch one movie? I know you guys still have to make money during the pandemic but I’m not gonna pay 30$ just to watch one movie and your probably gonna do this again and make everyone who had payed 30$ for Mulan pay an extra 30$ to watch another movie. I was so excited to watch Mulan because I had Premier Access and I didn’t understand that I had to pay for it twice because the wording of it was weird all I understood was “Avaliable with Premier Access” I asked my mom if we had Premier Access and she said yes. I waited until MIDNIGHT to see if I could watch it and when I saw I couldn’t I nearly broke down in tears. No joke. I searched when it would be available and it turns out I have to wait an extra 3 months before getting to watch it. December 4 is a long way off and with school starting it’s gonna take even longer. The more bored you are at school the longer the year is gonna take. Which means by the time It’s December 4 I’m probably gonna forget this movie exists and I’m gonna go on to Disney+ and be saying to myself “I’ll watch it later”.

Frequently causes issues with connectivity
App works great through non-iOS devices but locks up about every 20-40 minutes on iPhone or iPad. Not just the app itself, but most other apps lose connection to their servers as a result despite that several speed tests show the device is still well connected to WAN. Doesn’t happen with any other apps and is consistent across multiple devices. I’d suggest the devs look into how Disney+ handles data traffic on iOS because having to turn WiFi off and on several times an hour is simply aggravating. Also, regardless of connectivity… it would be an absolutely smashing idea to make it easier to access the main menu for recently-watched series (I.e. the page that lets you select seasons and browse episodes). I’m sure it’s either an oversight or perhaps too difficult to implement basic infrastructure changes, but so far, users only have the option to restart the last series episode from the home page and exiting with the “<“ option at top left just brings you back to home. Wouldn’t it be especially nice to not have to click through multiple menus to find the series you were watching (for me it may have been seconds ago) every single time you use the app (aka what customers should and do expect)?

Love hate relationship
First off I love all the amazing movies from the past and The Mandalorian Is soooo good! But recently the customer service has been sub par. On all my devices, as of two days ago after the few months it has been working fine is no longer working when on my home Wifi. Restarted router, uninstall reinstall all apps and support says it’s a WiFi issue. To test that theory I wold start a vid on data then quickly switch to WiFi and it works fine... I would even Fast forward/rewind pause and play to make sure it wasn’t just saved buffer and it all worked just fine. When I would exit out and try to resume the vid it then gave me an error message saying not able to connect... all customer service continues to do is say it is something on my and even after stating the facts then has yet to respond or give any details even requested a call back they said some one would respond in 10 days... My computer can stream just fine when on WiFi when I stream through there website so this is another indicator this is an app issue but no one wants to look into it or address this it seams. If they would make more of an effort I would not write this review. 100 some bucks isn’t a big deal for a year but it’s the principle of lack of accountability and assistance. A few other friends scattered around my town and local towns have had the same issue...

Great app but...
Here is the thing, I love Disney, my family loves Disney. Everyone young and old loves Disney. I think it’s an amazing app, with some even better features, and yes it has a bunch of glitches (which I’m not stressing about because in time those would be fixed), there are some things missing, (again could be fixed in the future, maybe something’s just need to be developed better, whatever the case may be). Those things don’t bother me. This is what I don’t like...,, ...The majority of the people who’ll be using this app are people who aren’t tech savvy or children. They aren’t always using the most up to date device or software, some children that are using Disney plus (which o can attest to) are children using gen 3 iPads. Or iPhone 4s. Things that are Easy in the hands of children. But unfortunately the app doesn’t support those devices, as they are too old for use. It would be fantastic if it was, I think they would have a lot more viewership but at this rate it’s very hard to use such a wonderful app on such an old device. I mean Netflix does work on things that old. Disney please consider this. Not everyone can or will upgrade a child’s device just so they can watch Disney movies.

To start off, thank you for reading and have a nice day😊😊😊! Now it’s time to actually write. You often don’t have the movies I like unless I turn off my VPN (we don’t live in America) and even then, you don't have some of the ones I like either 😞😞😞 like one I can’t see without paying you should have “Venom: Let there be carnage” and “Spider-Man: no way home” it’s kinda well, RIDICULOUS!!!! You also don’t have ALL the Disney movies and shows unless I go onto my dads account, but even THEN you don’t have all of them (see above!) just higher ratings! But overall, really great app, definitely recommend to people who want to watch movies and shows that are Disney, I like you can download a bunch of movies and stuff so you can watch it without WI-FI and still be able to watch the entire thing crisp and clear. I also like that you don’t do that weird thing some apps do and put shows out of order that they are supposed to go in like put the first episode in like, THE MIDDLE OF THE SERIES! But overall, very good app, amazing and I definitely recommend to everyone!

I’m so happy my fam got this! But...
So my family has gotten this and it is a great app! But the only thing is a minor bug. So I was bringing our iPad on a car trip, and before we went, I downloaded some episodes of my favorite Disney TV show so I could watch them offline in the car, and I stared watching them on the way to our carpool mates, and I noticed that it wasn’t as smooth as it was supposed to be... So I just thought, “Oh, this happens all the time with Netflix, so it shouldn’t be a big deal with this. I can fix it later.” So we dropped the iPad off at our house, and a few hours later, we came home, and I started to watch some more of the show, and it was still... Grainy, if you know what I mean? So I went to my dad and asked if he could fix it, but he didn’t know how, so I tried restarting the app, but it wasn’t smooth still. I tried restarting the whole iPad, but it still wouldn’t fix. So I finally figured that if I delete the app and then get it back again, it would be fixed. And we signed in again, and it worked that time... Quite an annoying situation, but it was... Kind of an “ easy” fix, but maybe you guys could fix this problem for an update. Thank you for your time! Fan

Over all great but could use some fixes
Overall I love Disney plus. There are so many shows/movies to select from that it’s hard for a Disney lover to decide where to start. Since today was launch day I know there will be some kinks that need to be worked out. I just wanted to list some issues or recommendations that could/should possibly be addressed in a future update. I saw one review mention that stuff they were adding to their watchlist wasn’t saving. I ran into that same issue. Another issue I ran into was my auto play wasn’t working. I have that setting turned on but when watching a series it does not automatically play the next episode. I also noticed that an episode was missing from season 1 of the little mermaid series. My recommendations for possible updates are: (1) add a “continue watching” section that shows what I was last watching and didn’t finish. (2)when watching a series have the episodes that users have watched marked in some way that shows they’ve been watched. Currently having to remember what episode I left off on. (3) maybe add a DCOM section so all those are in one place. Overall, I love Disney+ and I’m so excited to keep streaming all my Disney favorites

Horribly broken
Oh here we go again literally seconds after I write my review about how horribly made this awful app is. I try to watch something disney plus doesn’t load then it logs me out. I restart my system restart the app and I put my email and password in and somehow it’s the wrong password???????? Like where did it go what do you mean wrong password?? I pay for the literal streaming service to make sure it has my password so I can watch the content no??? You’d think this multi billion dollar corporation could muster a few brain cells to learn how to put a password system on there app that doesn’t lose it every few weeks and refuses to acknowledge your account’s existence until it just randomly works one day just because. Oh and don’t worry if you try to put in your password more than once it kicks you out of the sign in screen and won’t let you put in your email and it suggest you press the “forgot password” button even though it literally kicked you out of the screen to press said “forgot password” button. Yeah stellar app great work disney you have billions of dollars at your disposal yet 15 year old kids have made better more functioning implementations of technology in weeks than trillion dollar disney has made in years?! Disney supposedly “updates” Disney plus and “removes errors and bugs”

Love the app but…
The app is great but I would like to be able to watch all of the shows available in other countries like Spider-Man into the Spider-Verse or at least be able to download them when using my vpn and watch them downloaded when it’s off. I would also like to be able to screen record and screen share on mobile. Not whole movies and shows just clips I can send to family and friends. I also think the new movies from Marvel should be immediately put on Disney Plus. You can have it in theaters, I have no problem with that, but the fact that I have to wait four to six months for a movie to come out on Disney Plus is ridiculous. I don’t like to go out to theaters, especially not with the increase in prices in every aspect of it. The food, drinks, gas for the car, and tickets. Also, if y’all put the movies on Disney Plus, you’d get more profit. A lot of people would definitely want to stay home as well and putting your movies on Disney Plus would make people want to buy the subscription needed to watch it. Obviously the choice is yours not mine so it’s not like I’m forcing you or anything. Keep up the good work.

Too many errors
I think the available titles are awesome, unfortunately, with this new rolling out of star, my experience has gone downhill and I would no longer recommend a subscription until things are sorted. Parental controls were automatically attached to the account of my husband and I- we have no kids and there is no reason for this. We could not remove them ourselves, and neither could customer service alter our account for us- I was told that about a week later I could make changes. This meant no access to WandaVision or the Mandalorian- the two shows we were watching the most. I contacted support and mentioned I'd like a refund for the time lost not being able to use the service as promised. The customer service experience in itself was very frustrating, and I didn't receive any of the follow up mentioned about my case. Apparently they took this as a cancellation of subscription... this is not what I wanted (more just a pro-rated amount for time lost, with a continuing subscription) but anyway, we reopened a subscription last night. All seemed fine and we confirmed the age for our profile content should be 18+... today, excited to watch some movies, we see our profile is set with access of 14 years and below. WHAT? again? And we can't even change it. So frustrating. Not worth paying for something you can't use.

Great Material
If Disney would just make their parks more affordable and adhere to Walt Disney standards, their profits would increase. This premium specialty channel is great. I’d be remised if I neglected to to comment that they’ve went off the deep end going too far left, yet economically and just as equally, moved too far right. There’s no balance in social standards or consideration for subscribers. Here in NYC, we’ve lost programming with SPECTRUM, due to unscrupulous business wrangling from the Disney Corporation for more financial gain. On a different note, I have to really monitor what the kids watch, so as not to let them be indoctrinated before learning who they are. There are many subliminal as well as open out right political and social statements which may fit the times for the sake of political correctness. However, I’ve no interests in constantly explaining abnormalities which we as adults very well know, is being advertised and twisted as being normal. Disney + is good, yet they keep missing the correct societal marks that we need in entertainment, concerning our children’s growth and development.

Amazing but.....
So Disney Plus is literally the future. All of my all time fave movies are finally all in one place! INCLUDING Marvel, National Geographic, and Pixar. Now this one little app is all of the BEST movies out there. I can’t even begin to explain how easy this makes life. I can watch Aladdin AND Avengers on the SAME platform!! While this is incredibly mind boggling there is an issue I think they need to fix or spread awareness about. I have one account for the family and I decided that I wanted to make an account just for me. So I looked up weather it would cost more money, and everything read that it would be no extra charge to make up to seven accounts. I thought this was great so I made a new account; a few days later it showed a little banner overhead my account saying that it would up my charge starting the 28th. This made me so MAD that every website I went to said this would be free when it wasn’t. I do understand that this was not Disney Plus fault, but I do want them to spread awareness that some people are saying these things. Even if It wasn’t their fault it still made me mad and that’s why I have the four stars. Thank you for reading my review! Have a great day!

Great app, password system is trash
First of all, the app has great content and is very user-friendly. I enjoy that there are movies for a variety of ages, and profiles are pin-protected. The reason why I’m giving this 3 stars is because of the password system. There has not been a single experience where I’ve tried logging back into the app after an update or something and the password will not be accepted. The account is a part of a Verizon Wireless deal that my mother has, so it’s in her name and email. It’s like there is some kind of disconnect between her phone, my phone, and our TV (Insignia Roku TV). She doesn’t seem to have issues logging in, but there have been few times where I can get logged in on the TV or my phone. Usually the TV will not allow casting unless signed in on the TV first so that’s pointless (not the app’s fault but I figured I should mention.) She has reset her password numerous times, like 3 or 4 and it’s like the database doesn’t update the password information on other devices or something. Uninstalling the app and reinstalling it hasn’t worked either. Really frustrating. Other than that it’s a really cool app so I hope it can be fixed.

Why all these ads now?! Cancel and Boycott Disney+
This used to be the best streaming service. So many classic Disney movies and shows! MCU! Star Wars!! Then February 14th or 15th all the shows were saturated with ads!!!! I literally watched the first five episodes of Andor with my family February 13th ad-free. We loved it, had a great time. THE VERY NEXT DAY we tried to watch the rest of the season and every single episode had ads about every ten minutes. It ruined the experience for my family. Right there in the middle of the season. And the price stay the same! No discount, although if it’s ad-supported it should be free like broadcast television. Especially when you realize that 98% of Disney’s catalog was made before the Disney+ streaming service was ever made, so you can’t say they’re trying to recoup production costs. The reason why this is such a bad thing is ads are terrible for children. There is years of research supporting this. I tried to watch Nad Batch with my son and 10% of the entire show was advertising. Do you want your children to have 10% of entertainment they see be advertising? We immediately cancel out subscription and my wife and I both active encourage our friends to cancel for the same reason. It’s the only way to get Disney more about subscribers than shareholders. Update Suggestions
So our family of Disney-lovers find Disney+ to be everything we wanted it to be! Can’t wait for more of the original content to be released, also! I just have a minor suggestion for a future update that would make things a lot easier for us (and I’m sure others). Our son LOVES to watch the Mickey & Friends shorts. So much so, that we re-watch them constantly. However, after an episode is over and it’s continued to auto-play, if we go back to a previously played episode, it stars playing at the credits. There is no “play from the beginning button”. That leaves me scrambling to manually hold down the rewind button. Now it’s not so bad to have to rewind something, but the real problem is once that episode that I rewound is over, it will auto play the next episode and (because it was previously viewed) starts playing that from the credits again! It’s extremely frustrating considering the episodes are only 3-4 minutes long. On the Disney Now app, if the episodes were played to completion, any rewatches go back to the beginning. PLEASE MAKE THIS A FUTURE UPDATE! I fear my sanity and productivity are in jeopardy until this is fixed.

Worst app ever here is why
I’m not kidding when I say this is the worst app ever movies are fairly good but most aren’t good at all. There’s only like a couple movies that I actually enjoyed on here. Also, the renewal payment will not work. I’ve typed my credit card information in this app over 20 times I’ve logged into my account and log back out over 20 times and I still can’t watch my shows, I don’t know what else they want me to do I tried contacting customer service didn’t work didn’t go through so that’s why I’m mad because how many times do they want me to type all my information in for it to not go through they told me to visit my Roku thing did that signed in tight my credit card information did all that good stuff went back to the app. Still making me type in more stuff, then tried to sign in with a new email and still is making me type in my credit card information over over again I have money on my account I don’t understand why they won’t let me watch. It says my next renewal will be October and October and it’s September so why can I watch movies? Why can I watch my show? Thank you. That is my honest opinion and I’m going to need you to update an app because I’m tired of resigning in and this is the worst app ever I will not be using ever again

Major thing!! Please read {very important}!!!!
The Disney+ app isn’t allowed in my region and if it Would be allowed internationally and in Middle East it would make the app more successful, every year I travel to California for vacation and I use it there but when I get back home I would want to continue what I’m watching but it’s not allowed, don’t get me wrong I love the app but it would be so much better if you can change it for people to use internationally and every country and city should try this app! This would mean so much to me, I grew up watching Disney Channel on tv and some shows and movies are better on the app because their shows and movies that have finished their finale are in the app... I miss so many shows but I’m unable to watch them on the app, if it would be allowed in the Middle East I would have put 5 stars and if there were 100 stars I’ll do it but I can’t since I don’t use the app here. Since COVID i can’t go to California obviously, I don’t go out as much and I get really bored at home and Netflix is just adding unnecessary stuff which I don’t like and this app is kinda better than Netflix and it would be the best to watch it here, I hope that you take this into consideration that you’d fix it..... thanks..

Truly wonderful, but needs a few adjustments.
I absolutely love Disney+ it has brought me back to my childhood and that’s a wonderful thing to give to the world right now. All the Disney channel originals i could never find anywhere else is all right here and it makes my heart so full of happiness and nostalgia. But there’s a few issues as others have said. First, why does it have the second movie and not the first one for some titles not all but I have been noticing it with a few movies. Like with National Treasure for example, the first one’s not coming out till April 2020 what was the thought process there?! Second, when you go to rewind a movie with the touch screen in your phone it’s not accurate at all. I’ll go to a certain time take my finger off gently i might add and then it either jumps way ahead or behind of what I actually chose. Third, like others said the continued watching section is terrible why do i have to go back and search for where i was on some movies I’ve never seen, that’s just asking for spoilers just like the rewinding situation. I think with some adjustments you have yourself a truly fantastic app and a gift to the world. Thank you. 🤍

New movie ideas
Ok so I’m writing this for new movies OK so me and my mom were watching Wall-E right so at the end of the movie my mom she thought it would be great or it just be cool if they wrote another movie about this because she said like oh like next to me because see like how things turned out from the first movie, so like how they came back to earth and stuff, we could see how it turned out and if theyall the people got perhaps buffer back to normal. Super cool and this is like for me a personal reveal like you can make another movie ever ratatouille and you can make it. You can make the problem like how about that is a new top reviewer and the everybody I don’t know their names honestly who worked at the restaurant would have to all pitch in, but there was a new person, but there was also this girl that Remy met he’s been meeting her all this time and he didn’t have enough time for the restaurant because he was spending time with her so that he he would he would have to find a way to spend time with her and also get to the reviewer

amazing, but…
Disney + is a magical app, beautiful, truly. The only reason I’m giving it a one star is, pretty unreasonable but, I’m an unreadable person. Anastasia, yes the Russian princess that got turned into a movie, it’s amazing, ( watch it sometime if you haven’t already, or rewatch it. ) It used to be on Disney +, but they did something… unimaginable, they took it off the app. I don’t understand why if I’m being honest, it’s a movie that has characteristics hard to find, for example : character, plot, romance, and so much more. I remember, I was doing a thing I do every once in a while ( like every 3-4 weeks ) and that’s watching can you guess?? Hint : it’s Anastasia. When I saw it was off Disney + I had to scavenge for a way to watch it, it’s not easy, I had to buy it. It’s a pretty old Disney movie, I know you wanna keep it fresh, whatever I’m fine with that, but this, this is good, it’s historical and something every child should know, so, putting it back on Disney + would be just amazing, children, teens, even adults can be scrolling through Disney + and see it and maybe think to themselves, “ hm, what’s this??? Great service bad app
As a streaming service Disney plus is very good but as an app it is bad. This is not a review of the service but a review of the app. One of my points for Disney plus being a bad app is that it crashes randomly and will not open for a bit after it crashes. Recently my power went out and since I had a lot of stuff downloaded on Disney plus I thought I would watch that until my power got back on. But when I opened the app it went to a dark blue screen and then crashed I tried again but the same happened. Then I tried to restart my iPad and try again. When I opened up Disney plus after I restarted my iPad the same thing happened. So instead of using Disney plus I had to use Netflix. When my power got back on I had to delete Disney plus and redownload almost 100GB of shows and movies. The reason I’m writing this is because just now a few days after I I redownloaded Disney plus and all my shows and movies the same thing is happening I thought it would be solved with the new update but no. I have not found any way to stop this and I am very mad. Disney plus needs to put more work into there app and it’s quality control. If anyone from Disney plus is reading this please help me and thank you to every one who has read this.

Probably the worst app for Apple TV
Probably the most painful movie watching experience I endured on Apple TV. Impossible to find how turn on or turn off subtitles. When fast forwarding or rewinding a movie app automatically changes the language, seriously you go back few seconds to rewatch the scene and now you are watching this scene in some other language randomly selected by app, although German seems to be favorite. When using Siri only phrase like “turn english” seem to work while more appropriate “change language” does not yield anything. Native Apple TV settings for language, disabled accessibility (voice over), subtitles etc do not work in this app. Fast forwarding and rewinding in itself is a pain. Support is automated and I was not able to find solutions to any of these problems. Complicated to find the movie you have not finished watching (would expect it to be offered). So not too consumer-centric approach at the moment. Hope they would look at apps of their competition and improve its own. On the positive side they did great sorting of Marvel movies so you can see chronological or story-line orders. Lackluster experience overall. Waiting for upgrade and will be happy to give better review when improvements are made.

Fixed the Bug so YAY
OLD REVIEW: So, I gave this four stars because I do love the app and would love to give it five stars if only this one problem would be fixed. I was initially annoyed about the no “continue watching” feature but with the update that fixed my problem. Or so I thought... when I first got the continue watching update it worked on all of my devices. Unfortunately, now- no matter what device I am on- it restarts the episode that I was on. The continue watching will show me my show and say 7 mins remaining, or something like that, but when I click on it it will load to the beginning of that episode. This is not the worst because I will fast forward to where I was, but I do feel it is an inconvenience and would love for it get fixed. Again I would like to emphasize my love for this app and getting to rewatch all of my favorite Disney shows and movies. Please fix this little bug so I can change my review to five stars. NEW REVIEW: I love the app and have changed my review to five stars because the bug mentioned above was fixed. Thank you Disney+ this app is amazing.

Very high quality content.
I am relatively new to Disney+, and I have become unexpectedly very pleased with the Mandalorian series. The production values are of high, cinematic, quality, and , Most of all, the Mandalorian tells stories that have a thread of morality and humanity in each episode. There is too little of this kind of material available today. Storytelling is an art. Too much content today fails to recognize this, preferring instead to rely on Computer generated effects, and truly meaningless action (accompanied by loud intrusive sound effects ). CGI addicts Rely on this, and therefore. They’re happy to settle for two dimensional characters, which differ very little from the background graphics. The Mandalorian, on the other hand, produces a number of fully realized, three-dimensional characters which are capable of supporting well crafted plotting – even if some of them are generated by computer. I am ready to enjoy the fourth series But storytelling takes time, serious intellect, and the patientce to do good work. I am willing to wait. I have spoken.

4/4 Is Worth It.
People might give it a 3 or a 2 but this is worth a 3 or a 4. At first Disney+ had so much lagging and glitching on my tab. And I HATED IT. Always kicking me out, loading, network issues. But now it changed my life. They added so many great movies, Flora & ULYSSES, ALVIN and the CHIPMUNKS and Garfield. Not the original but the live actions brought me so much N.O.S.T.A.L.G.I.A. I watched Alvin and the Chipmunks movie when I was a baby and it changed my life. But if they had a profile of Garfield, and Alvin Simon Theodore, Dave and Flora and Ulysses that would be SO much better. But until they don’t give the profiles I want. Including Flora and Ulysses. I am stickin’ to a 4 star. But for now let’s talk about the glitches. There is many kickin me out, loading and network issues when I have my network connection just fine! The bugs are just getting worse and worse. The glitches may deserve a 3 star but the movies deserve it so yeah. Disney Plus if you can do these suggestions. 1: Add an Alvin, Simon and Theodore, Garfield, and Flora and Ulysses profile. 2: Add more Alvin and 20th Century Fox movies. I love your stuff so far Disney. Keep up the good work. 👍😊

Great Service, Missing One Key Feature
My wife and kids and I love the service so far! There’s tons of stuff for everyone to watch and we’re enjoying showing them the classic movies we watched as kids. The app works quite much better now that they’ve squashed some bugs and added the all important continue watching feature. The app is still not perfect however. After using the app more, I’ve noticed some peculiarities that don’t make much sense. The first is that when someone watches something on their profile, it will often show up on the continue watching list on my profile even though I’ve never watched that show on my profile. This happens quite often with my son’s episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. The other weird thing I’ve run into is that Moana can not be found on a child’s profile. This means my 5 year old who loves Moana must have an adult account that is more difficult for her to navigate in order to watch her favorite movie on the service. Overall, we’re very happy both with the service and the app. Once a few minor tweaks are made, I think Disney+ will be able to play ball with the big dogs.

While I love the content, the navigation is frustrating
Disney + has some great international content, but absolutely no way of searching for it. The only successful way of finding content from other countries is to use a VPN to pretend you are in that country. Even then, it is not sortable by language. In fact, it is IMPOSSIBLE to have content automatically play in it’s original language, as the setting defaults to whatever your last language preference was. The “details” tab doesn’t even MENTION the show’s language in the description. It is challenging to start a show and have it play in a dubbed language, pause it, change the language to the proper one, and then play. When I called into support, they suggested I create different profiles with different primary languages, but even that doesn’t sort by original language—most of the content is in English with an occasional exception. It is quite frustrating because I KNOW there are good shows! Additionally, sometimes the option to change the language doesn’t show up and I have to exit and relaunch the app to make it re-appear, which I consider a bug. Disney! It’s a small world after all! Make it easier to access!!!

Content good, but basic features missing!
The content (Marvel, Star wars, etc) is great, and I love having new content from some of my favorite movies. However the basic functionality on this app is just lacking! The inability to delete a show from continue watching is difficult on other apps, but they all have a way to do this. The complete lack of a way to do this just shows the Disney people really don’t understand how people stream at all. They think all their content is so good no one would ever not want to continue streaming any of their shows, which is patently ridiculous. So your continue watching list is just littered with things you don’t want to watch, half of which started automatically after you finished watching a show (yet another “feature” we have no way to disable!) So you miss when new episodes of the things you do want to watch come out! The app in general is just clunky and slow. Having to navigate to a side bar to find your watchlist instead of on the homepage makes the wishlist basically useless! Come on, Disney! We pay for this! Get with the program and get your app into the 21st century!

There is a lot things you can watch I one whole day and there is maverick and Star Wars many other thing and there is the new haunted mansion coming out and than you have stuff that is scary and a lot of you like scary stuff and you will love that movie and I just think that you should watch or download it because you can watch stuff that you want to watch you can make an account for literally every age and if you don’t pay your rent for Disney it will not let you in an those are some good thing because Disney works hard wi make a lot of stuff and that is a really good thing and they do a lot of events and you get to see what they do in Florida and even if you don’t live there they do a livestream and you’ll get to see all of the stuff that happens and if you don’t get see that at the moment they keep the livestream so you still get to see and that is a really fun thing so I really think you should download it and there are shows for every age so thanks for reading Copyright

Love it but 1 issue
I love this app and have had it for a little while now. All my favorite Disney channel original movies in one place, talk about a childhood dream come true! The only issue I have had that doesn’t seem to have been addressed in the update, is that my watchlist isn’t working right. Currently, it’s missing some shows and movies that I can look up and see that I’ve added to my watchlist already, though it’s not showing up when I open the watchlist. The watchlist is also duplicating the items that do show up on the list. I’m not sure if this is connected to the other problem I noted above or if it is a completely different issue. Obviously, I still love the app and have even recommended it to a few people. I just wanted to mention this issue that I am having as the other reviews I have read didn’t seem to mention this. I hope this is an easy fix, as I do think this app is great. Disney as a company is amazing! I am so grateful that I can watch all the movies and shows I love that are more recent, while also having the option to revisit some old favorites that I grew up watching (and loving).

Nice service, app needs work
We (obviously) enjoy a bunch of the Disney content, and even some of the “original” content (like The Mandalorian) is very well done. However, the app itself leaves a lot to be desired. My two main complaints are: 1. The app always begins playing a show immediately with no buffering, but then, at exactly 20 seconds in, buffers for 5-10 seconds. This is extremely annoying, especially when you’re watching a Pixar short that is only two minutes long. Also, since the update, the app has begun buffering randomly in the middle of programs, sometimes 2-3 times in a row. For reference, we also have Netflix and Britbox, and neither one EVER stops the show at any point to buffer. 2. The lack of a working “continue watching” bar. I know that this bar showed up in the update, but it doesn’t work on either of our devices. The bar is there; it shows the programs we’ve been watching, and how far we’ve progressed into them. But when I tap on one of the programs in the bar, it nearly always restarts the program from the beginning. About once in ten times, it will restart from where we stopped watching, but those aren’t good odds.

One little thing
Alright, so this is going to be short and sweet. Disney plus is amazing, I use it all the time to watch my favorite movies, and recently I’ve been binge watching the marvel movies. It works out pretty well for me. New episodes come out within a few days (which is pretty awesome), you get to watch anything owned by Disney, and it’s just awesome. (Especially The Mandalorian) But there is one thing that could make it better, and I’ve seen other people make this suggestion too. Disney plus should definitely have a “currently watching” section. It’s the one thing left that I need. Otherwise I have to look up the movie that I’m watching, find the right one, and hope it starts off where I ended. And it does, but I think it’d take a little less time and effort if you put a currently watching section right on the top bar of your home screen. That way I can click the app, scroll down a tiny, tiny little bit, and click the movie or show that I’m watching. So yeah, my suggestion (which you should totally add) would be a currently watching section. Otherwise, Disney plus is basically perfect for me.

Update: So somehow as you watch content it is saved into documents and data. I have no content downloaded within the app but somehow over 6GB of documents and data?? Also it shows multiple episodes downloaded in the storage setting view of the iPhone that aren’t downloaded within the Disney plus app itself. After deleting those episodes that aren’t downloaded but somehow are, there was still over 590MB of documents and data. I deleted and reinstalled the app and it had mere kb of data. As I start watching content again, the documents and data keeps increasing, what gives? I have tons of other streaming apps that don’t do this, it’s a major hassle, please fix! Original review:Lots of things already available. The menus and selection content loads quickly and the playback quality is very good. Also tried it on the Roku and it also looks way better than every other streaming app I have. Things load and begin to play quickly. They have a search function but they also have multiple ways of categorizing so you can get to what you want pretty quickly as well. So far it’s working and looking great, have to see how it does when millions of people are using it at the same time.

Broken Buffering + Energy Hog
I don’t know what happened in recent updates, but now if I try to watch ANYTHING longer than a few minutes, I cannot jump to a later point in the thing I am trying to watch without the app softlocking. (It will never finish buffering despite loading the video/movie perfectly fine beforehand, and all controls become disabled.) Also, when I restart the app to recover from a softlock, the thing I was trying to watch LOSES progress in the show/film that failed to buffer, which further exacerbates the situation. I wanted to rewatch some of the Star Wars movies for May 4th and 5th, and I tried to start with The Phantom Menace, but I wanted to skip the non-action scenes. My plans have been ruined because of this glitch. Also, this app has always been an energy hog even back when the app first launched and still is even on newer smartphones. Disney+ never fails to completely drain a battery in under an hour of use no matter what the content is or the quality of the device’s battery. I fail to understand why this happens when other video streaming apps can run for two-five hours before a device’s battery requires a recharge.

Works, provides, but what is up with the volume?
I am not the only one in my household or group of acquaintances who currently has and pays for this Streaming service. And while we enjoy what it has to offer, one question is brought up every chance it has; What is up with the volume?? I went to watch Captain Marvel the other night, and had my television cranked in the mid 50’s volume-wise. Normal volume for any non Disney plus media is between 8 and 16. But just to hear words on any Disney plus media, one must turn the volume up so obscenely that any unforeseen action sequence might blow out someone’s eardrums if they had just turned it up even more unreasonably to try and hear dialogue just before. Or, as is far more the likely case as I have witnessed it multiple times, an individual turns their volume up to 50 to hear talking on a Disney program, then switches to another service on their television. Want to know what other streaming services sound like at Volume 50 and above? I wouldn’t know because all I hear is ringing now. And after spending 20 minutes discovering there is no audio settings for this app... I guess it’s up to you Disney. Your move.

I’m obsessed!! I love Disney+ because it has everything! Like i remember on Netflix i would be watching girl meets world and then before i even finished watching the series they took it off the app and i was just like REALLY YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME 😡 so then i downloaded DisneyNOW and i would watch an episode of something but then have to wait like 2 weeks to see the next one and it wouldn’t even go in order! I was like JUST PUT SOME STUFF ON THERE PEOPLE COME ON!! So i just deleted both and then Disney+ come out and i was like HALLELUJAH!! One thing i will say is there is a lot of glitching like when I’m watching the show will stop and pause randomly and then you have to push the button twice. Also when i turn my tablet around it will turn the screen but instead of like turning sideways it goes into the corner, i don’t think that made any since like AT ALL lol 😆. (Im tryin here lol 😝). TV shows out of order
For what I use the app for it works fantastic. I have noticed updates being rolled out and see the changes happen which is fantastic. The biggest con I have is the older tv shows are out of order. Watched the new Ducktales and Talespin and the first 2-3 episodes for each are hidden randomly throughout the run. I know it’s a cartoon but it is nostalgic and watching it as an adult and wanting to know why certain things happened would be nice to know at the beginning. Other complaints would be stretching the old Simpsons 4:3 into 16:9. The old Disney cartoons are 4:3 so why not the old Simpsons? The app works well with chromecast. Every now and then the programming will stop playing whether it’s 2 episodes in or 8. It’ll randomly stop. They need to add skip intros to all tv shows like The Mandalorian has. I look forward to the future of this streaming service and can’t wait for the whole MCU to be available. Also, please add more classic Mickey Mouse programming as big blocks. Not individual 6 minutes episodes. I have to search for and stream one at a time. Fix these issues I have pointed out and this will be in my eyes a five star app.

I was going to rate this 5 stars this morning, but when I went to my offline downloads (as I don’t always have access to WiFi, I love downloading shows offline), all of my movies and shows were GONE. If it was a single movie or two, or an episode or two, I wouldn’t be upset- I’d chalk it up to a glitch. BUT ALL OF MY DOWNLOADS?! Disney, It shows I have no downloads, BUT THAT IS A LIE! I had the entirety of SVTFOE, Owl House, and Gravity falls downloaded, as well as Big Hero 6, Descendants 1, 2, and 3, and a few old 9 minute Disney animations such as Through the Looking Glass and Trick or treat. Including the new and old Alice in Wonderland movies. And to see them all gone?! No thank you Disney. I thought it was better since my downloads didn’t expire like Netflix did and just having to renew them. If I had to renew them, I would be peeved but not so vigorously upset and maybe have given it 4 stars. But seriously Disney+ and Co., I just wanted to download my shows and movies for my road trips and younger siblings. Everything else, including content and shows are beautiful and great quality, but I still am ticked after seeing downloads I’ve had for a few months just DISSAPEAR.

Disney+ is Okay.
Disney plus is an app you have to buy, for an app you have to buy it has some low points. To start with is the thing that I hate the most. You can’t use the Disney+ app when it needs an update. Disney+ takes up sooooo much storage already and when it needs an update you have to wait until you have enough storage on your device! I also had to keep the Disney Now app just so I could watch new episodes of currently airing shows which is REALLY annoying and takes up more of my storage. I also hate the fact that a few shows, like Andi Mack, don’t have the entire season! It’s like starting a movie and skipping an entire hour of it! It is also quite annoying that there are the 1st and/or 2nd movie in a three movie series on Disney+. I watched the first mighty ducks but the second and third one are not on Disney+. I do however like the fact that they have all the original Disney movies that you have to buy on your regular TV. This is a good app for someone who is into only the older Disney movies and shows. However, it can be quite annoying for someone like me who likes old and new Disney shows and movies.

Content is mostly what you expect, UI is dreadful
It’s pretty clear they are hoping to coast on the popularity of the brand, and it will probably work. My kid likes Disney enough that I’m willing to jump through the hoops. Still, there is a ton of stuff that is not available because of prior licensing agreements, which is extremely frustrating when the only thing the service has going for it is the promise of a comprehensive repository. They definitely should have waited until they had reclaimed all their content, or offered an extra service where they handle explaining the intersection of greed and intellectual property to my crying toddler who just wants to watch Tinkerbell. As an app, it does a fine job of providing the underwhelming experience it’s tasked with, so I didn’t knock off all the stars. The service itself has been very slow to catch up to the basic experience other streaming options offer. Overall the whole service and app feel like they were rushed out in beta and are only now beginning to resemble a finished product, which is disappointing from a company that has all the resources it needs to do things right.

Horribly optimized app
Getting two stars because of this app missing the simplest streaming features out there across all devices. Not being able to easily resume a movie/show gets beyond irritating. Especially when they release a resume feature couple weeks after launch only to find out it’s broken, you have to manually search through the app each time to find what you were watching; find it, hit resume and it simply restarts. Thought it was my device messing up, but same happens on mobile, pc, fire stick and playstation. Don’t understand how such a big company that claims to be the new kings of streaming can’t even manage to have the simplest features work. Playbacks constantly skip where the video freezes and the audio continues. This can last 5-10 seconds, goes in a loading loop and then rewinds back to the spot before it hit the video freeze. This has also been happening since launch and happens quite often. Overall it’s a pretty crappy app that was rushed and never optimized for common use. Great selection but unless you want to deal with a headache trying to watch what you want, i’d wait till Disney decides to fix this app as it feels like a Beta testing.
